Say Anything (1989) a cult favourite amongst film loving youth, an underachiever falls in love with the valedictorian in the school, against all others doubts they fall in love.
The story goes as you would expect, they slowly fall in love with each other, and they have their mishaps along the way, I won’t tell you the ending if you haven’t seen it, but I’m sure you can use your imagination.
Amongst coming of age films, this is up there with American Graffiti, Dazed and Confused, Easy A and more. If you haven’t been fortunate enough to see ‘Say Anything’, it really is a classic and deserves a watch, even for guys like me!
