The final chapter of Christopher Nolan’s superb Batman trilogy; The Dark Knight Rises has had it’s fair share of reviews, however across the board it’s mostly praised as a typical Nolan film full of action, character and story.
It was confirmed just yesterday that The Dark Knight Rises has no overcome the $1 Billion mark, and has now succeeded what The Dark Knight grossed in theatres after the same period of time.
What did you think of The Dark Knight Rises?, was it better than The Dark Knight?, personally I felt that Rises was a film more about Gothom’s rise as it was Batman’s rise, about the courage and determination of Gothom’s finest, (including the protagonist who we’ve slowly come to love, Batman.) ?

Films are subjective-what you like, what you don’t like. But the thing for me that is absolutely unifying is the idea that every time I go to the cinema and pay my money and sit down and watch a film go up on-screen, I want to feel that the people who made that film think it’s the best movie in the world, that they poured everything into it and they really love it. Whether or not I agree with what they’ve done, I want that effort there-I want that sincerity. And when you don’t feel it, that’s the only time I feel like I’m wasting my time at the movies. - Chris Nolan

The Dark Knight Rises, possibly the most anticipated film of all time is finally here, for those of you as happy and lucky as I am to have got tickets and seen it, I’m sure you’ll agree that it will no doubt smash box office records this weekend.
This Batman as Nolan and cast have said, focuses more on the emotions of Batman, the scared man that was left behind after his parents were killed, and the life that he now leads. The film runs at 2hrs 45 minutes, but it flies by. The film is filled with more characters rather than just Bruce Wayne, and because of this at times it possibly sidetracks from a ‘Batman’ film that we’ve been used to over the last two Nolan Batman’s. However performances in The Dark Knight Rises is at a high, and the struggle for Gothom’s freedom and safety is enthralling and filled with tension throughout as you sit helplessly in your chair watching the catastrophic events unfold before you.
This last film of the trilogy is a great send off, personally it was my second favourite after The Dark Knight, but not too far behind. The Dark Knight is in theatres worldwide now, so stop your debating, because this is a film you will not want to miss in the theatres. A side note for you, I saw the blockbuster in IMAX, and believe me when I tell you, it’s the only to watch it.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ possible the most hyped about film since film took it’s footings as part of our mass culture, has been shown by Warner Bros. in a preview screening just yesterday, to the biggest film critics to build hype about the last film in the trilogy. It’s reaction was on the the scale of huge. Many reviewers including Empire magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Total Film and Time have given it 100 on metacritic, whereas Time Out New York have given the film a surprisingly low 60.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ looks to be what we’ve all hoped for, with this Batman different in the way that it focuses much more on the feelings of Bruce, and the murders that scared his life, and whether revenge against the villains of Gothom will give him any freedom.
Whether you’re a fan of superhero films or not, The Dark Knight Rises released this Friday, is a film that must be seen.

I have to say, the soundtracks are a little different from the first two films we have seen, these soundtracks that have been released connote a more dark force than previously. One things for sure, after listening to the sountracks, and interview of actors as well as technicians, this film really is going to be a spectacle.
The Dark Knight Rises soundtracks go on sale July 16th whilst as most of you know the film is released worldwide July 20th.
