The biographical tale of one of the bravest and most resilient women to stand for democracy, Aung San Suu Kyi
This is a film that really means something and promotes democracy, it’s a film that is there for education which is what many people believe is film’s first purpose.
The film is directed by Luc Besson, director of such classics as Leon (1994) and the Fifth Element (1997)
The films earlier voters on IMDB have given the film a respected 6.9, so I’m sure this film is going to be very moving and create huge prejudice towards the Myanmar government.
The film has been released today (30th December) so if you’ve got the time, get yourselves town to the theatres and watch it!!
