The Big Lebowski as we all know, is a kick ass film. A film that slowly unravels that scam that he been rested upon ‘The dude’ (Bridges). The plot itself makes me laugh at how simple it is and underlines just how stupid and oblivious the dude and Walter are. For those of you guys who haven’t seen (The Big Lebowski) for whatever crazy ass reason, "Dude" Lebowski is mistaken for a millionaire Lebowski, who seeks restitution for his ruined rug and enlists his bowling buddies to help get it.
Scene after scene the film just gets funnier and funnier and is a master-class in writing by the Coen brothers. Cause and effect takes the Dude and Walter to more and more totally different places to uncover what they have to do in order to get his rug back so he can ‘tie the room together’. Along the way he meets weird people, sexy people, crazy people, rich people and what other else kind of people you could imagine.
The Big Lebowski (1998) truly is a landmark for modern film and the performances that are delivered from Jeff Bridges and John Goodman are absolutely brilliant, unique and genuinely funny, as the audience is transported into their shoes.
